Marriage Mediation

Marriage Mediation

Marriage Mediation is a confidential process you and your spouse can use to resolve a major dispute. It is NOT marriage counseling. The focus of Marital Mediation is to create a cooperative agreement regarding an issue that has been unable to be resolved between the spouses.

Some issues Marriage Mediation has been used for:

  • What religion shall the children be raised?
  • How will we, as a couple, be affected by each of our families?
    • Where to draw the line.
  • Major money and property decisions.
  • What discipline will we use for our children?
  • What are our roles in a blended family situation?
    • Step-parents/children.
  • What school will our child attend?

Marriage Mediation can be used for any conflict that is causing distress in your marriage. The biggest benefit of Marriage Mediation is it allows the spouses to totally work through an issue and come to an agreement without causing irreparable harm to their relationship.
